Error updating Subnautica: "Missing File Privileges" (See screenshot)

I'm going to attempt to fix this manually (verify cache, chkdsk), but. thought you should be aware.

EDIT: Verifying cache didn't do the trick, but either chkdsk did or the newer update from this morning did, so it's all squared away now.

    I'm having the same problem, I hope they get around to resolving this issue soon. I really don't want to uninstall and re-download the whole game again.

    All you have to do is run chkdsk. And / or restart your computer (after running chkdsk and updating, another update hit, and I had a Windows Explorer process holding on to some files in the Subnautica directory, even though Explorer was closed, preventing upgrade -- I just terminated the process).

    So:

    Restart your computer.

    If not fixed, chkdsk c: /f

    (replace c with whatever drive Subnautica is on)
