Teleporter tech in the game

How would everyone feel if there was a teleporter in the game, like if you had a base near the aura and a base in the lava zone, then use a teleporter in the base to teleport to a different base you have made in the game, making it easier to get to certain areas in the game, not sure if this would be human tech or the alien tech you can somehow get from the aliens base with the gun, either way, I think it would be a very awesome thing to be added into the game!

Honestly I don't see getting stuck in your deep base being a likely scenario, nor would you necessarily have the teleport tech when it happened. But it WOULD make life a heck of a lot easier if you want to go back and forth between outposts. You could set up a farm near the surface and a base in the deep and just warp back to the farm base when you needed food, for example. Or if you needed to get some more of a resource like quartz that's found near the surface because you wanted to build some windows in your Lost River base, you wouldn't have to drive your sub all the way up to find quartz, just warp back and go get some.
I'm actually warming to a cable-car system ...it'd be great to see in a DLC.
I'm not saying it doesn't make sense and if UWE would consider adding it, I won't object. It's just something I don't feel for.
That seems too excessive and more or less forces you to build a nuclear reactor or farm reefbacks for bioreactor duty (or make good use of the accumulator that may or may not be implemented). High quality ingredients plus 250 energy points on each side should by current standards be enough.
The only thing I don't like about this is it limits how much resource you can take through. There really needs to be an ability to carry at least an additional locker full of stuff through the teleporter.
Given that the map is currently ~4km squared, perhaps 1km per (in-game) day would be a reasonable rate. That way you could go resource hunting for a day or two - and by the time you get back it would be charged up.
