Radio module.

Hey there fellas. I was just listening to good ol vietcong soundtrack while playing subnautica and.... it occured to me. Could we possibly have a radio module? I mean it is possible to listen to a music on youtube while playing but thats not the same as for example radio in GTA or something like that. What I have in mind is that we install radio module in our...seamoth or mama submarine and then we upload some of our own mp3 tracks into the game folder. The sound from the radio would be like those old radio players and you could even hear it while being outside of your seamoth but a lot lower (water n shit). It would be also possible to install radio module in our bases. The atmosphere would be awesome (reminds me the scenes from martian where he played that annoying disco music :) ). Sorry If I did not express everything the way I wanted, language barrier is stronk :P

This was the song I was listening to, goes great with exploration ^^.

To be believable, it would have to be a personal entertainment device (MP3 player) found in wreckage (or maybe in the locker room in the Aurora), or something (which then reads your MP3 directory or what have you).

Why not a radio player found in a wreckege? Whats unrealistic about that? :x They dont have radios of any kind in the future?

Dude, you're waaaay out in the outer edges (your mission was to put down a new warp gate). So... You wouldn't be picking up any broadcasts (way out of range for a handheld, and the Aurora, even if it could tune in, would get transmissions from however long it took light to travel from the broadcasting station).

I suppose. You'd think that it would be more of a per-system type thing using standard radio waves, though, or you'd have an almost infinite number of channels. Like how your FM radio fades out as you get out of range -- image you had to tune through all of those channels because none of them ever got out of range? You'd need to be able to search for stations / songs / etc.

Dude you are talking about what if and how...this is a game and we want a radio :x. If u want realism i suggest u add pressure resistant suit because u cant survive in depths deeper than 100meters if you are not trained like crazy. Not gonna mention swimming around in depths below 1km. So, either rant about this issue or do not rant about my radio ... rawr.... http://rs126.pbsrc.com/albums/p116/family_first14/TUMBLR MEME/FUCKYOUFACE.jpg~c200
