How can i fix this? PLEASE HELP!

in Subnautica on Consoles
Every time i start a new subnautica game everything works perfectly until i get about 3 hrs into the game then my framerate gradually drops until the game is basically unplayable.

i start a new game and the frame rate is perfect again.

please help i have started a new game like 4 times and really would not like to reset again.

    It's a bug ATM. I *think* it's something to do with assets in the terrain being used (picking up resources).

    You could test that by starting a new save, and not picking anything up, and only using console commands (on XBox, LB + RB + A to open console).

    Or you can try to hard reset the game by saving and then quitting subnautica all together then load it back up after you close it. That is what i hear people do to try to fix it.
