Flashbang grenades to scare predators off without harming / killing them?

EDIT: Like an artificial Crashfish. Bonus points if the grenade has a similar paint scheme. Grenade would probably need a launcher, though.

    How about instead of scaring them off with a boom, it explodes into a shower of glitter to attract predators to an area so you can go around them?

    Would work on Stalkers and Bone Sharks at least. Sandsharks might need like a meat/chum grenade to lure elsewhere.
