Hi Everyone,
I have come across an issue around the mushroom biome.
When I enter, at a random point within that biome, the game will pause, then continue, then pause and crash, always on the second pause. I have repeated this 15-20 times with the same result.
I have no disk usage taking place, I'm not caching or loading data , memory commit is stable with plenty of spare, CPU isn't spiking.
I have verified the integrity of game cache.
I have used lowest /highest quality & resolution, all to the same effect, attempted in daylight & night time.
When I try to do exactly the same on a very early save game ( only 6 hours of game time as opposed to 16 ) I can enter/explore/leave that biome with no pausing or issues at all.
I have totally dismantled a nearby base in case it was having issues in the proximity of the biome, but the same effect.
Any advice/help/ most appreciated, happy to upload a zip file full of the last 5 crash logs if needed.
Fab game -= very much like it, keep it up !
*edit* next day - I tried something else - I went into the wreck in the mushroom biome & got the BP that I need from there, and then decided to die & respawn, but with my BP obtained - the game crashes ! It does not like me leaving the mushroom biome at all :-\
cheers
