Why does Swimfins not charge things. ?

These fins should charge everything in your inventory passively overtime as you swim, holding the item in your hand should not be a requirement for it to gain charge, unless your plugging your tool into a socket on your fins then wireless charging is implied.
It's kinda frustrating rapidly spamming side step left and right with a laser cutter in your hand just to make it work, or using the seaglide and having that stupid low power noise get spammed in your face as it flickers between 0-1%.
Either charge everything passively as you swim or give us the option to swim with the glide in our hands without actually using it so we can sit in one spot spamm left and right to charge it up.
YES!. batteries are cheep, but why the hell would I waste resources on them when we have an item in the game designed to charge them?
