Sea Scooter a small life form that belongs in the fauna category, that is nocturnal. This creature comes from the floater family and has the same bioluminescence as the floater on its body. It will walk in a line behind your seamoth once it's attached to a creepvine rope, the purpose for doing this is to carry storage on their backs to go to a location. Well why do this when you have got space for storage on your seamoth you ask, well so you have room for other upgrades. http://polycount.com/discussion/126683/bernoullys-bucket-of-concepts

You can add too more crustaceans like crabs, more cephalopods , molluscs like sea slugs, more worms and more live in the islands like little mammals or birds.
Those are some of my ideas, thanks.

maybe something that lives under the island and surfaces in the pond every once in a while? when it's in the pond, it can spew hot water at you if you get too close.
Maybe put a variation of the inactive lava zone biome close to the surface and create a small chain of volcanic islands for the creature to live in. Nothing big, just something interesting to explore.
good idea. but maybe they can use the already existing island. not the floating island, the other one. it's across the map.
I'm working on a design for your creature. I'll post it soon.

Sorry for the wait! Here it is!
the wait's no problem, but i cant see it... could you try e-mailing it to me?
There are alot of aggresive creatures and scary ones soooo why not a beautiful passive sea serpent like milotic from pokemon or something. We really need more passive big fish like the reefback. Or maybe the deep sea dragon abyss from puzzle and dragons z

My idea: Clawcrab. It is a crustacean that lives on the floor of the kelp forest and grassy plateus. it looks somewhat like a lobster with 4 eye stalks on its head. it has 1 large claw and one "hand" with 2 fingers. It scavenges the seafloor for leftovers from larger predators. Its main predators are: Stalkers and sandsharks. Its relative, the bloodclaw lives in deeper areas such as bloodkelp and is colored dark purple and is slightly larger. they will attack you if you get within 5 meters of it and the clawcrab does 8% damage and the bloodclaw does 15% damage. they are about twice the size of a biter. stalkers eat it whole but biters attack it in groups. If you kill it you can pick it up and cook it.
What about a crab that sits on a spider like web made from coral or something and it catches its prey by either sticking them to its web or catching it with claws. Or a jellyfish that peacefully glides around the ocean but has electrifying tentacles that sting you and deal damage.

A jellyfish with web like tentacles, or have a jelly fish that grabs and noms you like half lifes cieling grabber. Just like those, it should give the players a chance to escape. I know, i know, the games almost done and adding such things could mess things up. Me and the rest of Xbox got here late, so at this point I'm giving out idead for the sequels. Fingers crossed for Subnautica Together

I thought the Subnautica Whale was a good concept. After all, with so many kaiju sized pieces preds, they can't ALL survive exclusively on Reefback and player.
Ever seen those little tubes where eels live and just pop out to have a snack? I don't recall their name, but made sandshark-size they could be an intense ambush predator to hide in places and scare the everlign crap out of people!
I think something along the lines of the Magnapinna squid, only about 3 to 5 times bigger. Maybe Reaper Leviathan size, or a bit bigger. i would like it smaller than the sea dragon though http://imgur.com/gallery/uokQ7hu
That is what it looks like, by the way. Maybe it could live in very deep areas. At least 700+ depth
The real thing is 26 feet long. Maybe the Subnautica equivalent could be 312 or even 624 feet long. I would like it if somebody convert that to meters because I can't
