Failed to allocate **** bytes and will now terminate

So I just installed the game and tried to play the tutorial - tried sandbox - and training match but I cant seem to keep playing.

Each time I die as an alien or evolve my game freezes and gives this: Failed to allocate 536870916 bytes and will now terminate.
I dont know if this is a know error so I decided to post it.

I created a tech support file and will attach it to the post.

Here is my system information if it is needed:

Processor: Intel Core i7-4770 CPU 3.40GHz
RAM: 16 GB Kingsotn hyperx black
Running windows 8.1 pro 64 bit
GPU AMD Radeon r9 290x
Motherboard: MSI Gaming z87-g45

    Hi there,

    This is a known issue and seems to happen on some systems which have the Video Help Tips turned to on.

    Go into your options menu and disable all hints and tips. This should fix your problem - we're working on a perma-fix for this in 268.
