Hi Pros and THX to be a part of this Community :-)

After reading some Tuts and searching some Wikis i don't find the Info i need. I wan't to edit some Models from NS2 but don't find a way to export the models, to edit them. As i see there is a possible way with the DAE format. So is there a way to export a Model from the *.model format?

THX so far!

The models were released via @Chops in 3DSMax format with Rigs included. I'm sure if you search the forums they will appear :)

Any chance on documentation of the model format?

Like the map format documentation: http://forums.unknownworlds.com/discussion/130973/map-format-documentation#latest

There are source files in assets/modelsrc or most things, some didn't get added with the latest content patch, but most are there, but not props as that would greatly increase game size with the hundreds of props. You open the file as a max file then you use the collada export dle in the game folder, must use 3ds max 2009 for most compatibility, if not you must use opencollada. Chops has YouTube videos of this. You then use builder with a .model_compile file with the .dae.
