well something seems a bit off here ....
it also constantly reports more players than it should (yesterday it said around 12000 but steam stats peaked at under 10000)

could be 48 hours. Just a guess

If its only counting unique players, then its totally possible during a free play weekend/sale during PAX Prime.

considering the peak of players online at the same time we could assume that most people quit the game very soon after starting
