    lmb - primary fire
    rmb - move forward
    middle mouse - move backwards
    period - strafe right
    comma - strafe left
    m - alt fire
    f - flashlight
    r - reload
    right alt - use
    / - Crouch
    weapon hotkeys are: I, L, J, K, ', B
    Mouse sensitivity is console commanded up to 40 ( from 20 )
    Been using this key system since quake 2 ( the first time I had to use mouse look ). If you actually lay your hand on the keyboard with your pinky on space and your pointer and index finger on period and comma it feels pretty natural, friends have confirmed this

    the only two bindings I need are forwards and fire.
    edit: and they're both bound to space bar

    the only real problem I run into is what key to bind "+use" to. I used to make it middle mouse, but now it's typically either T or F. both of them are easily accessible by my pointer finger even while moving.

    Mouse 2 for +forward, ever since Wolfenstein 3D.
    t = crouch
    f = left
    h = right
    g = backpedal

    And inverted mouse of course!

    Gliss' aren't that odd tbh, I've seen MUCH weirder, mostly from old quake players.

    I know someone who used arrow keys for movement, right ctrl for fire etc.

    Must've played Doom

    Q = left
    W = forward
    E = right
    D = back

    hm, why use D for back instead of S? the way i'm thinking is if you need to move backwards, you don't need to move forward so you can move your finger off W and onto S rather than E for D.

    I think getting NS2 to work on an atari 2600 controller should be of the highest priority.

    Is there a way to get a precise value for your ingame sensitivity? According to the wiki, you can set it with i_sensitivity <float>, but that doesn't seem to work.

    setsensitivity shows value. setsensitivity number sets it. Mine's 1.955882

    these numbers are pretty meaningless. just say how many inches/cm you take to do a 180 or 360

    Changed to 0.75 @ 1600, it's about 36cm/360 (that's 14.17 inches). I'd knock it lower but without good accel options my snapping would suffer :(

    Lowest one is for Marines and Aliens. Second and third are for Lerk. Rarely use the third one though.
    Pretty much from the middle of my 11.03"/280mm mouse pad, to the edge of my mouse pad is about 210 degrees. Edge to edge is about 1.5 turns.
    Will be getting a bigger mousepad next time.

    Sidenote, I should really sign up and edit the wiki one of these days....

    First person I've seen to use different X and Y dpi.

    EDIT: Also yeah, when I got my new mousepad, I made sure to get a giant one, it's 400hx450w (steelseries qck+).

    I had ~1.45 with 6400 dpi and now changed it to 1.25 with 8200.

    edit: Oh, and I use my Desktop profile when buying stuff at the armory :D

    :O Is that like 1cm for a 360 rotation?

    It's about 3 - 4 cm

    edit: Let's say 3.
