Textures needed for SANITY
<div class="IPBDescription">Textures for Sanity mod maps</div>Hello community. I am the lead mapper for SANITY MOD. I am in desperate need of Real life textures for our Earth themed MOD. I am currently working on a few projects for the mod. But I am missing a CRITICAL component. TEXTURES FOR MAPS. The limited pallet of NS2 makes mapping for an office building very hard. or a metro station even harder. I am asking the community for help with these things. I am looking for textures that me and you take for granted everyday. The things that make up the train stations and workplaces of our everyday lives.
Current maps in need of textures.
Train Station (Most urgent)
Office Complex
We are looking for real life photorealistic textures with bump mapping and depth. We want this mod to really POP and stand out. wouldn't you want to be part of a team working to create the first FULL conversion Mod for NS2 the game we all love for years.
If this talented community could get a texture pack together for myself and other mappers in this forum then it would only go towards growing our game. your fun. and NS2

It's a timely process building textures, it's pretty rare for one individual mapper to both make every texture they use and build a map with them. Textures are ideally set up as a community project where you build libraries of them that everyone can use.
We've got a bit of a starting point, but it's a long way from the texture libraries of Half Life 2 (although we're unlikely to ever actually get there as well)
Oh? We're do I find this repository of textures so I can add my own?
Why don't you get plugins to open vtf files and convert to dds and start working?
You can use the same textures as in source without any or little modification.
All you need is photoshop with vtf and dds plugin and some understanding how the .dds formats work. I just converted a texture from my tf2 map to ns2 and I pretty much did nothing more than tweaked my normal map for it to translate better.

Doesn't look crap to me for a source texture.
