Ingame rating very un-accurate

When a Marine finishes up a Building, he rewards a couple of points, no matter if he was spending one second or half a minute building that structure.
Sometimes you get up a structure almost all by yourself. Then another rine comes by, "helping you" for 1 sec and with a little bad luck in timing, he would get the points and you go along with ZERO!

Same as Gorge when growing up a hive or another structure. Sometimes the last tick will be grown by itself, sometimes you'll get the points for it.

those are just two examples. Same applies to the killing of an enemy. The rating system should be much more accurate about all that. I just played a decent game last night, where i think, i contributed a lot for my team but i ended up on the very end of the ranking... poor gorge :(

Not a major thing right now about the game itself. But if there is a rating system in any way, it should have proper mechanics. Otherwise its kinda useless imo.

The whole "whoever gets the last hit gets the points" thing is kinda LOL. Also, a gorge can be a HUGE help for the team, healing and bile bombing, but most often ends up at the bottom of the scoreboard.

Not really a big deal, since there's no ranking system in this game, so w/e. The scoreboard is just there for tradition :-) .

Yeah who really even looks at the score?
Commanders currently get NO score... Who cares? xD

I think it would be cool to see the gorge get more points. As said before, the gorge is a HUGE help to the alien team. It is a play style not everyone enjoys, so i think we can at least give them a point buff.

My greatest satisfaction is when the team I'm on wins. I don't begrudge someone jumping at the last minute to build/kill a structure and getting the points. When I jump in and get the points when someone else did most of the work I hope they don't feel cheated. I hope it all evens out in the long run. I remember rushing to help out a fellow skulk only to see it killed and the marine running back to the base. I killed the marine with parasite at long range and got the points. That was a little unfair.

Yeah the score system needs a total re-work. It should reward dammage done or the amount of time spent building or healing, not who gets the last click.

    Junk the points system.
The only function it serves is to give an indication for feint death.

    Remove that to.

    This

Why even have a scoreboard if you're not going to implement it properly? Surely it wouldn't be too much work to just fix score for healing/welding/building/damage/assists

Points mean nothing. Unless I start bilebombing and become top player, then it means everything.
