I am excited to announce the BBC - Blind's Beta Cup - on next weekend !

Rounds 1-4 on Saturday 29th September starting at 10:00 PDT | 1:00 EDT | 18:00 UTC | 19:00 CET
Round 5 and Finals on Sunday 30th September starting at 10:00 PDT | 1:00 EDT | 18:00 UTC | 19:00 CET

The next tournament on Natural Selection 2 Beta is about to commence next weekend and I can't wait to bring this to you! The event will be livestreamed at <a href="http://www.twitch.tv/blindns2" target="_blank">http://www.twitch.tv/blindns2</a>, casted by Ryne and myself.

The cup is a round-robin format with 6 teams, so there will be 5 rounds of 3 matches of 2 games for the ladder plus a Finals (BO5) between the two highest scored teams at the end. That's alot of matches... that's a lot of fun!

The winner team of this event will receive 2 Natural Selection 2 Steam Gift-Keys (no beta-access) as price. One additional NS2 Key will also be given out to one of the stream viewers, so make sure to get a twitch-Account when watching!

Seeing as you people keep making events *shakes fist* ive finished a rough implementation of an events tracking system for ns2hub. It now shows the upcomming events on the homepage. Hopefully this will help people keep a track of the awesome events like these in the future!

Sat down and watched the A stream of the Wasabi Cup, and that was a lot of fun. This format sounds like it'll be fascinating, and I can't wait to watch it tomorrow! Any of y'all know if you can watch an earlier part of a Twitch.TV recording before it's done? I won't be able to be there for the live first hour or so, so I'm wondering if I can jump on, zip it back to the start, and watch like that.

Yes, unfortunate. Possible solution would be to stop and restart the stream after each match but that forces the viewers to refresh the page or they think that the stream went offline....so not a good option either.

Fortunately my schedule changed so I'll be able to catch it, but for the record there isn't anything to be done about that sort of thing. Really just wanted to be sure to be there for the code give away. :P

I put a short roundup of the cup on ns2hub, you can read it <a href="http://ns2hub.com/article/29/Blind%27s%20Beta%20Cup:%20Roundup/" target="_blank">here</a>.

It has videos for the semi finals and finals, useful as a catch up for anyone that missed it or wants to see them again.

It was a fantastic Cup blind, great work and I look forward to seeing more from you in the future!
