Pre-order on steam

So, I pre-ordered on steam, and someone said pre-orders get a second copy to send to a friend, and that there is immediate beta access, is this true or false?

Is should say pretty clearly what you get by pro-ordering on steam on the steam page for NS2 itself. Why would you think you get anything other than what it says on the steam page?

The steam page says nothing of getting or not getting into the beta, afaik.

Yes that is my point. If it doesn't say so on the steam page then why would he think that he would get beta access.
