Pre-Order now Cheaper? :S

<div class="IPBDescription">Hm</div>Is it just me or has the pre-order gone down now to £19 on Steam? I paid £25 for it before they put it on Steam.

Kinda feels like the people that were a fan of the game enough to pre-order it before it became so popular have been charged more than people who didnt even know it existed now and will just stumble upon it on Steam :/. Its almost like we paid for the privilege of helping them balance the game in BETA.

Any thoughts?

    You pre-ordered before the Steam appearance?

    Then you get Deluxe Edition and a <b>free extra copy </b>of the game. Also people who order through steam don't have Beta access.

    that is possible, if i get a free extra copy then you are correct and my point is, well there is no point, i will check if i have this, maybe its something i totally missed :).

    BETA access isn't really something to pay more for, though :).

    You won't have the extra copy right now, they are not up yet. But if you are able to play the Beta, you will get it, as a Steam gift I think.

    Read your thread, that answers all the questions :), main concern for my post is that so many games had done this where they discounted games a week after release etc which does say "FU" to the consumer.

    This however isnt one of those cases! Thread can be deleted :).

    Yeah, UWE is really a fair company. And don't be mad if the game may get cheaper soon, maybe they'll have to do it, because MMO-only games become very rare and very cheap.
    They'll never say FU, they really want to survive.
    Little side story: There was the otpion to get a refund a couple of months ago. Some people did that, got their money back, but the game has never been deleted. That kind of company UWE is ;)

    Tbh its fine if they make it cheaper, giving the people a free copy who purchased on faith early on makes up for it and then some, which is great :).

    Now to decide which of my loyal friends will slay skulks beside me! :D.
