Why? I don't seem to find anything gamebreaking in the gameplay-part of the trailer. The exo looks like a beast, but with quite a few limitations (e.g. movement).

Lol no building for exo obviously? i find it good with the cooldown of the mini gun however i hope its balanced. i forget but theres another gun to come with it as well? Is it to be released at the same time or later date once the balancing of the mini is looking good?

Before you competitive nubbins start moaning about balance, stop and think about the amount of work that has gone into the exo suit. The reason they are releasing it in the BETA is to learn from the public and improve the game as a whole. I’m guessing that it won’t be perfect to start with, but give it time and have some fun with it. Criticising it before it has even been released is just disrespectful. Give ‘constructive’ feedback after playing 217 for a week or so.
We have a few (at least me) competative players in the play tester team, and often discuss things regarding balance, and I'm sure Charlie dreams about balance (may it be nightmares or sweet dreams), so it's been discussed a bit at least. That being said, there's obviously going to be a phase-in time, where it will show how it faires in general. It's still a massive buy (50/75 res) so it has to be worth that, and yet it's still killable. Although if you meet 3-4 of them you are generally in the ###### :p
I do recall a checkin saying something like "Fixed a bug where the exo would fire twice the ammounts of bullets it was supposed to", I guess it's alright that got fixed prior ship :p

Are the minguns additive? I.e. do you double the dmg of one when you have two? If so that seems rather tough to balance (without making one minigun worthless)

Both.
So 50 for the exosuit and an additional 25 for the extra minigun.
