yeah ive been looking at them, the only thing I am unable to (or don't know how to) do is the first step. haven't found a config.txt and not sure exactly how to edit the "executable line" which i assumed was server.exe

Check the part of this manual that talks about server.txt: <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/wiki/index.php/Dedicated_Server" target="_blank">http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/wiki/inde...edicated_Server</a>
Basically you need to add a parameter to your shortcut / startup script that defines where the server.txt is located. Then in the txt-file you can define more parameters like the ones required by ns2stats.
You don't actually need to do that anymore, you can install NS2Stats (and any other workshop mod) through the "Mods" tab from your web admin interface, after clicking the "+" sign, refresh the page, go to the mapcycle tab, and enable NS2Stats in the mod list, when you change map it will be enabled.
I used to have stats listed there and I just checked today and it's all gone.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->

Thanks,
I tried unchecking 229 and selecting 228 but when I select my name, it still shows blank?
How long does it take for stats to update because I've played 229 for a while since it came out.

Have you played on ns2stats enabled servers? You can see servers which use ns2stats mod at <a href="http://ns2stats.org/server/index" target="_blank">http://ns2stats.org/server/index</a>
There was hard disk failure thou, but it was bit over week ago, we lost all data when that happened.
I used to a lot but after UWE came out with their official servers, I might not have been much anymore. I do know that I just played on a KKG server yesterday.

[UPDATE]
- Update mod to work with build 230 - Server active mod list is now send to <a href="http://ns2stats.org" target="_blank">http://ns2stats.org</a> along with other round data, this should allow for filters based on mods. (experimental)

[UPDATE]
Version 0.39 available for build 223!
Changelog: - Added feature to auto reload map every 30 minutes for mods, reload will only happen if server has no players during the check. - Added console command ‘players’, this command will show all players, their steam name, rating and their ranking. Data will later be used for team auto-arrange and player in-game icons. - NS2Stats mod will now automatically disable itself partly when it detects that new build has come. This should make it so you don’t have to disable it (as often at least) after new builds. So NS2Stats will get auto re-enabled after we update it.

I don't usually post what changes have been made to the website but now i'm having a multiple day code jam and I thought it would be cool to list the changes and fixes made so here's the result of the first day: <!--c1--><div class='codetop'>CODE</div><div class='codemain'><!--ec1-->• Turned log parsing into a background job to make "check"-command to work • Fixex line chart end time to update with filters • Added separate round length graph • Added top commander list • Added player flags and steam images to the front page • Added commander name highlight to round stats • Added link from round stats to server stats • Fix selected weapon graphs<!--c2--></div><!--ec2-->
Also couple of other fixes and new features which are not visible yet.
Games are frequently not showing up in recently played matches on both the front page and in the personal page. Rantology and I played about 3 hours of NS2 (10+ games) on ns2stats servers (mostly KKG2) and I have a total of 2 games recorded.

Thanks for informing, this has been ongoing issue really, sometimes better, sometimes worse and its also our first priority to fix. Problem is that parsing data from round takes really long time to save into database fully, it takes 30secs to 20minutes since we are even saving every bullet fired. So we parse some data right away to print round link in-game (which hopefully it starts working soonish), parsing this first data has to last less than 5 seconds, otherwise lua function will timeout and it does not print anything in-game. So we are working on it.

<a href="http://ns2stats.org" target="_blank">http://ns2stats.org</a> is down currently, until Zeikko restarts it (webserver is down), he's without internet atm because he's moving to another country, so dunno how long it will take.
So while down; new installations will give error messages and old ones still work.
Suggestion: add map filter. Would be useful info to filter competitive maps (although, by filtering competitive servers it already half-filters most of the crap maps) to see Win/Loose ration per side per specific map there.

There was simple bug with adminSteamIdList check it seems, so it does not work atm. I'll make new version today where it will work or i will use serveradmins file for that. Also we just heard that AFKKick might be making zombie players on server, so will look into that too.
Btw ns2stats.org is down atm due webserver crashing again, should get back up later today.

[UPDATE]
Version 0.41 available.
- Changed afk kick mechanics a bit. (If there was zombie players before then there should not be now) - Players who are listed in serverAdmin.json won't get kicked by AFK kick anymore. (steamIdAdminlist in ns2stats_config.json is not used anymore at all)

You mean that's going to be added to the official game? Sounds unlikely to me. I'd just like a way to make it so the round doesn't start for 30 seconds instead of the default 15 when players start joining. Or even better, have it so the round starts when 50% (or whatever %) of players have joined a team, it's annoying when a round start with 2v3 and there are 11 people in the ready room!
