I think he means the borderless window mode, which is a feature that will probably get added down the road...

Yeah, I'm a big fan of the borderless fullscreen windowed mode as it makes alt tabbing a lot less frustrating.

Guys, click the "windowed mode", apply it with the proper resolution and then press alt+enter - VOILA! Fullscreen windowed mode.

(yes, alt+enter works on any game where the borders have decided to pop out)

That would just change it back to full screen mode though, the thing ALT+ENTER is made for actually. It wouldn't be a fullscreen or rather borderless window mode

i'm pretty confident that this is true.

as for window mode, i guess the main issue is that the performance is a bit worse compared to fullscreen. regarding the current situation, they probably have other priorities than cosmetic details such as window borders...

You don't have to be confident that it is true. ALT+ENTER always was switching between fullscreen and window mode. Borderless/fullscreen window is a rather new "movement". I'm using it for years - where it is possible - and always hoped it became a standard. Programs that tried to force it on normal games never really worked.

Hopefully it comes soon, there's simply no reason not to use it. And that it brings a performance hit with it never was true on my side.
