Is it possible to make a single room (power node in it) power the entirity of lights on my map? or at least most of them? If possible it might actually be a choke point for either team to hold. i mean yeah its great knocking off power in a room and its all just pitch black, but i would love to really make a power room, give my map a bit more Tactical feel rather than "hold this res point or tech point"
i wanna see a banner pop up saying "power in blabla room" has been destroyed and the whole map just being dark.
But how can they cut the power man? They're animals!

You could do this, but all your power for every room on the map would be attached to that single powernode.

Currently you would require a mod to do this while still keeping power to the buildings in rooms separate from the lighting.

You could, but then most of your map would have the same name, since powernodes are tied to area names AFAIK.

One way of doing this, which would involve a bit more work than usual concerning location entities but would surely be something fun and rewarding. Your power room has a certain name defined in its location entity, then englobe the light sources you want to turn off outside of that room with a little location entity with the same name of that room. You will probably have to make sure location entities for lights and rooms don't overlap. I did something like this in a previous version of turtle where certain lights in hub would inform you about the power status all around the map.

If you do such a map it will probably be smart to remove access to the power point in each of your rooms, as it could be confusing if there is a socket for the lights in the center of the map and sockets in the rooms which powers buildings but you wouldn't see the lights turn off. Buildings would always have power. Talking to some competitive players this is something they would like a lot! And I am sure they would love this strategic take on powered lights.
