    So, I'm one of the noobs who hasn't been around for a patch before. Will the servers all have to be updated as well? I'd hate to get the patch and then have to wait another couple hours before any of the servers are compatible with the game version.

    Servers generally get updated the same time as the clients. So there shouldn't be a wait longer than a couple minutes from when it's available for players, if not up already.

    To all germans who can't connect to steam: Somewhere between germany and the us is an ip filter active. You can connect to steam via a proxy. (hotspotshield for example.) After you have been connected, you can deactivate the proxy connection.

    Weird. I wonder who is blocking... But anyway...

    The cake is a lie. Be patient. If ya'll keep whining here, I'm sure UWE would not going to send any patch to Valve anymore at late afternoon*. I'm sure they also want to give us the enjoyment of the new build, but the same time I'm also sure they don't wanna see 7 forum pages with full of whining.
