Need more info, like system specs.
Also, see if there are any errors and/or post your log.txt file. You'll find it in \Users\username\AppData\Roaming\Natural Selection 2\ folder for Win Vista/7 (think its in a different location for WinXP, but you can probably find it via search).

Or do you have a shared memory graphics card that you need to disable? That could cause a conflict.<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd--> its 32-bit i have a 64 bit compatible system but my computer crashes when i install it sooo.... and as for force restarting steam it didn't work
i found out the directX runtime wasn't installed correctly so i reinstalled .net framework from 1.1 up and then tried again and it worked thx for all the help!!!
