    i think the instant clip refill is a bug, as well as the 8 grenades (should be 4 if I remember correctly)

    I guess I'm the only one who remembers playing NS1...I know this is supposed to be a new game; with new features, but...not everyone on the team should be carrying around a GL....especially with so many rounds and quick reload. LMG+GL=OP. It should be one or the other not both. A GL in NS1 needed support by others carrying different weapon choices; in NS2 you have a LMG and GL all in one defeating this purpose.

    I would like if they add a extra animation, so if your grenades are empty, you move to a armory and you see how the marine remove the old attachment and add a new one, this should take some seconds.
    And i think they grenades should de-creased to 4 but still a attachment, to increase balance, it should do more damage against buildings.

    How is a LMG + GL OP, when 1 Fade can kill countless marines in only a few seconds?

    If anything they need to give the LMG lots more options for attachments,

    GL
    SG
    Tazer
    Flamer
    Smart Gun
    +Ammo Count

    And when Minigun is in game, not alll maries will be carrying a GL, its lack of options more than an OP issue, the SG is better in many situations than the GL.

    I'm pretty sure it is a bug. if it's intended, I'm sorry, but it would be a good way to balance the GL, by limiting max ammo and refill rate (anti spam patch!)

    GL is not fine, what game are you playing?
    The current grenade launcher is heavily overpowered at the moment, hence why many teams go directly for that upgrade.
    Damage and AoE (maybe also reloading) should be nerfed. Grenades are insane at the moment.
    I think the reason aliens are winning more than marines at the moment is mostly due to performance, that limits the marines more than the aliens.

    Sorry mate I just don't agree, yes GL is good, but its not an instant 'I Win' button, I would MUCH rather go face to face with a Fade if I was carrying a SG over a GL.

    I agree however that the reloading time on the grenades is far far far to fast, should refill 1 nade that time, so it should take approximatly 8 times longer than it does in B185 to refill the clip.

    If you can, please tell me how the GL is any more OP than

    Fade blinking, swipe x2, kill marine, blink out (this takes what 2seconds?)
    Lerk moving so fast that most people cant even aim fast enough, and there ability to decimate buildings in what 10 seconds.

    A SG insta kills a skulk!

    Why are Gorges trying to keep it alive! Thats NOT thier job (solo anyway),. That like complaining that a Fade in MS is OP because he can kill buildings when the rest of the maries in are datacore.

    I think it would be a good idea to remove the lmg part of the gl, and maybe further tweak how fast you can shoot, how much ammo you carry, costs, and dmg.

    So it gets a specialized weapon that needs protection of a team and not just something you can/should equip your whole team with.

    At this point the GL is OP. Especially if a small team of 1 gl and two shotties get to a hive. I sometimes feel a little guilty about how easy it is to take out a hive.

    I don't like the greande launcher the way it is implemented now it just encourages solo rambo playstyle even more. This ist not the way ns should go. A Marine with a gl should be an easy target for aliens when he runs around without his team. The gl + lmg combo is just too overpowered.

    NS1: 4 per clip and 32 per carry!! so walk out heavy armed and able to kill alien struktures like hell but!!!!!!!!!! no rifle, good balance for the power + 4 rounds really quick fired and done real damage ...

    NS2: 8 Granades at all then out of ammo lmg standart weapon remaining so paying for only 8 nades if not resupplyied... + slow rate of fire cuz relode after each


    im sorry to say but the old GL kicked ass, the new one is handy but more or less a toy i would always take shotgun or flamer and not this to less ammo to slow relode for a combat. with the old one + JP you could just fly around the hive and rain death! aliens feard it. the new one is like ok i got hit by 1 nade if i am alive ill 90% kill the marine.


    i mean there is a reason that the m203 is a nice atechment to the m16 but there are REAL GL´s like the Milkor MGL

    If you ditch the attachment idea and turn it into a GL-only weapon then you have to make the grenades even more powerful or it won't be worth it. An entire team protecting 1 or 2 GLs still doesn't come close to the destructive power of a full team equipped with GLs.

    Honestly I don't see how LMG + GL discourages teamplay, because Rambos usually get eaten by skulks after their first or 2nd grenade. A good team tactic is to give everyone GL and have some people nading while the rest of the team protects them with the LMG, then switch off when the first group runs out of nades, or tag team, whatever. Rambos still lose with the current system, I've never seen a rine take down an entire hive by himself with a GL.

It would define the different roles of marines (carrying different weapons) better, be more teamplay-oriented aswell as be more rewarding when infact working as a team - covering each others' weak-spots.

    Yeah I agree, that's why I want the GL to be even more "GL", and the minigun to be "a lot minigun", so there's these good choices, all viable, but they come at an expense of something else. Not just to have it as an attatchment.
