I doubt calling the Mods Nazis and swearing on the internet like a teenager will make them want to do what you have asked. A more mature post at least would have been read.

I'd say it depends on what kind of discussion can come from the post. I don't think Live action portal, for example, is really warrented of a huge amount of discussion.

If it's discussing a video of a politician doing something or something like that, I think more lenience for "the proper place to put funny videos" would make sense. However, no item that will ever end up on fail blog, for example, really ever deserves it's own discussion thread. There's really nothing to discuss.
