Gorge build abilty

Hey, thanks to <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?showtopic=113667" target="_blank">this </a>thread I had an idea about gorges' gameplay: Let them be able to purchase small chambers (I mean, not mature), maybe small pustules too, with their p res.
In addition to that, make the chambers built by commander cost his p res, because actually the alien commander has no way to use his p res, and make the mature upgrade cost t res.
<b>PROS :</b>
-Gorges could built like NS1, making gorges more useful and let them have a support role as big as in ns1.
-Alien commander could use his p res.
-More chambers built every rounds, and in early game.

CONS :</b>
-Would need some coding from UWE.
-I actually can't see "bad" cons.

He should be using team resources on chambers, as they give the alien team upgrades.
I only agree about one thing in this thread, and that is gorges being able to help build all alien structures. Like marines can speed up their building process(that should, in my opinion, require a welder. but it is not in the game yet, sooo for laters I think).
Alien and marine gameplays should be asymmetric, actually, the marine comm do NOT have enough p resources to waste it on scan/arc/macs, and he'll have even less in B178, that's why I thought only the alien commander could p res on abilities and why not on building chambers (cause I'm sure you won't be spamming ombras over ombras).
Then, as I thought this, I said to myself : "hey, why not let gorges build too", so I wrote up in a new thread, maybe I could have posted this in yours but I still think it needs a new one.
About the "chambers give the alien team upgrades", if I remember correctly, only mature structures can research upgrades (maybe not the A1/2/3 and W1/2/3), so letting the alien comm being able to "mature" chambers with the t res is the same.
Then, about the "speeding up building process with welders", as the MACs will be available at the robotic factory, marines will have to buy welders in the CC (it is something I already imagined and posted), and the comm will need marines spending resources on early welders instead of early shotguns. But yes, I agree with you that the "magic building hands" of marines are weird and they should need welder to build (as they used it to repair buildings in NS).
Yeah I'd like the welder animation at least in if we're not getting full blown welders (which I'd prefer honestly). As for the gorge building structures.. I'd like some of the old gorge functionality back and if not hive structures it's own structures then like traps maybe, something more than hydras at least. I'm hoping at least they're going to make temp infestation permanent if it's connected to regular infestation.

Oh? I can still hear the accelerating growth sound when I hold E. Thing is, the percentage doesn't seem to bounce up like before, but I'm sure growth is accelerated with use.
Interesting... I tried to help build Hives and Harvesters, with little success. I shall test it on the other structures later.
(Update) Holding "Use" as Gorge in fact does accelerate alien building construction. It's just that the Hive takes so long to construct now, the effect a single Gorge has is not apparent immediately.
