Teamwork is a big factor in such a game. Usually I have more deaths than kills but mainly because I am sercuring resource towers and building up the hive defence. It's a hard job but someone has got to do it. It really pisses me off when I wait at an empty resource and then evolve and just build the resource tower and a marine comes by. thats why i think alien scores should be removed..... its about teamwork wether your marines or aliens...
i dont care if poeple on my team are 0-20 because if they are a crappy player then so what. if a marine is shooting at them he is not shooting at the good players who are racking up the kills. so it balances out. even lurks get shat on and they are great with umbra. bah

But seriously, it's really hard to be a gorge and respond to your team's demands. It's easy for someone just to say, "HEY GET OFFENSE CHAMBERS UP!!!11!one!" but you're in the middle of building a resource tower in enemy territory. Then, people demand that you get the hive up, but you've just finished building fortifications around it so that you don't die while it gets built. Without Gorges, the Kharaa would be just mouldy protoplasms slowly cooling off from the fresh bullet wounds of hot lead from an assault rifle.
