    I get this every time i use the insert image button, "You are not allowed to use that image extension on this board. A valid format is: <a href="http://www.domain.com/picture.gif" target="_blank">http://www.domain.com/picture.gif</a>, an invalid format is: <a href="http://www.domain.com/picture.one.gif"" target="_blank">http://www.domain.com/picture.one.gif"</a>

    Any ideas? I am using imageshack or any other

    hmm, I've had that before and got around it by deleted the http part or was it www....I don't remember.

    I just put the htt.....jpg part inside the image brackets

    You can get the forum thumbnail code from imageshack too and paste that here, that way you don't need to use any forum buttons.

    So yeah hey everyone,

    Haven't seen any scoreboards up yet so I'll be the first, here's a snap of an exciting game that went on a little too long(lol) ^^.
    On my favorite server too, that being the anagram Chicago!!! Great people, great server, almost no lag ever!

    My shots are nothing that special, but they look pretty nice.

    The curled up whip looks awesome in front of the hive. I personally think this silhouette should show up more often.

    A lot of people argue that the hive should be a really dark room. I always imagined the alien hive room atmosphere to be really warm and humid. The spores and the umbra always helped convey that to me. This sort of captures what an alien hive room should look like in my mind. Warm, organic, humid.

    Basically, I think there should be less all red emergency lighting, and a constant amount of gas/humidity near a hive. Seeing the glowing hive through a cloud of gas is an incredible sight!

    I also really liked how the alien structures in NS1 were like environmental growths. There was nothing more fun than blocking marines into a room with a wall of OCs and DCs. Its almost like all the structures turned into a single growth. I think this screen captures that feeling in NS2.

    "Hey Rick, whats that on the ground?" Two marines scoping things out. Flashlight. Cloaked skulk about to pounce. Another fine NS2 moment.

    Sweet Screens Stickyboot. I like all of those shots.
    Cory mentioned in the power node post that they were going to add fog and other cool effects to the hive area. So your idea is on that same page.

    I know the best screens come at random times but if you can plan it out right, type r_gui false into the console then take a screen.
    This takes away the hud and shows nothing but what you see. My pics above aren't so good but they show the hud off.
