Sort of. A lot of servers are suffering from memory leaks which causes the game to be unplayable after 10 minutes, and often crashing afterwards. This is especially true for 8+ player servers. For the servers that are handling it, the game is pretty playable.

Deadzone

If you can get into a server that isn't about to crash, it's decently playable. All you need is a pre-order of any kind to hop in.

You need to preorder the actual game to get beta access.
