Griefers kill FPS=Kill Game

Please limit Drifter/mac in next patch
This has happened about 4 times now and i'm sure it's happened to others too.

This particular time i had all upgrades possible with 8 players with a mediocre fps and on average about 3 turrets at every res point, we where just about to move in for the hive attack when the alien comm spammed so many drifters it literally locked up the game at 1 FPS. All i am asking here is that you limit the drifter/macs to a reasonable number, maybe 6 at a time? i never have more than 4 going at once and it works out fine so far.

It really suck when you have invested time in going through the tech tree only to get cut short by a griefer at the final strategic move.

Parking your drifters at my armory!!!, how dare you!!! "Waves Fist"

6 is a very low limit, I usually needlike 6 to kill a single skulk, while I still have macs building sentrys at other places. I actually never noticed macs causing lag until one round yesterday, but I know for sure I have had more than 15 in total once witout feeling (more than normal) lag.

I played yesterday and it was something odd happening thoguh, I was commander and it started to lag, ppl said "do not spaw macs", and I ceased to (as I noticed that when I created more macs it seemed to lag more). However, it just started to lag even more (and my macs were getting killed so it should have become less macs), until server died. Why would it lag more and more in that case?

PS: I love how macs can kill aliens now, I won a round being lone marine, playing solely as commander, against 2 aliens (actually 3, but 1 was afk). Just had to use my macs to kill them, and later in game I got sentrys protecting my bases so I could advance. Then for some reason it said my team won, even though I hadnt even started to assault the hive :(.

PPS: Sentrys really is to fast to acess, should atleast require a level 2 cc if you ask me :P.

Can also be achieved with loads upon loads of hydra's. But then again, they do cost more resources...

I kinda like it upgradable right away but i'm old school and the first things i threw down where IP,TF,3 turrets, and an armory in that order on just about any ns map.

Maybe if you had to activate a power node first, like have a marine actually physically activate it would be cool and would help re-establish a little teamwork between comm and soldier.

Comm: Activate that Power node soldier!!

    Soldier: Yes Sir!!

(commander drops Power grid access tool)
(marine picks up tool and opens power panel)

Soldier: Send the macs, power grid online!!!
Comm: Good Job Soldier, Proceed to armory for your cookies and milk!!

Just add a cooldown (the amount of time you must wait before you can build another bot).

This can be done a number of ways:
    A. Static cooldown (like 10 seconds)
    B. Linearly proportional cooldown. So, if you have 0 bots, then 0 seconds cooldown. 1 bot = 2 seconds. 2 bots = 4 seconds. 3 bots = 6 seconds. 4 bots = 8 seconds. Etc.
    C. Exponentially proportional cooldown. So, if you have 0 bots, then 0 seconds. 1 bot = 2 seconds. 2 bots = 4 seconds. 3 bots = 8 seconds. 4 bots = 16 seconds. Etc.

I was trying to create a group (experimenting with squads) and held ctrl down whilst clicking on a drifter. About 20 suddenly spawned... crashed the server.
