With this release, we gonna see any kind of documentation for modding? You can give more information about modding in that realease of engine test? And can you say if you are planning to work on the engine from now on, to let comunity already make and testing his mods?

not sure if it's been asked, can we launch this test through the steam launcher? i want to brag to my friends when they see "Name is now playing Natural Selection 2". All i've seen was that steam needs to be opened, but nothing of actually linking a shortcut to it.

If im not mistaken you can add games and such to launch through steam anyway and rename them accordingly.
i remember such days playing Warcraft III but was named :-Hello Kitty Island Adventure.
The speculation and confuision that arose from that lol.

I really hope this game makes a fine transition to next gen engine.
Personally i did not like the transition of counter strike > source version, neither day of defeat > source.
In my opinion they sold us the same game twice with less features but with improved graphics, while the gameplay remained unchanged and some features were missing.
I hope this is not the case for NS, so i am keeping my fingers crossed on this one :)
