    WIP: Next Section leading to Cargo Export Transit Tunnel

    I am opting for word on official model set from the Dev's for the scene below, A suspended "generic" cargo rail system set with Clamp/straps design for the Medium Cargo Container. Comprox or anyone ask about that for me would be great otherwise I will have to poke someone amongst the community?
    Cargo rail system set would be an ace main feature in some maps. Corners, junctions plus some pump trucks for lifts would be nice :)

    Someone reminded me I haven't posted anything in this thread in ages and I've been working on something for a while, so yeah, I thought I'd show a tidbit from a WIP area. Lighting way too bright and unfinished, room not fully detailed really.. and yes that will probably be two skylights in the ceiling, not so sure, still thinking on things.

    I love the detail so far, but it looks awkwardly like a box filled with cool stuff (if to a tasteful degree). Some sort of elevation difference, perhaps?

    This made me think spontaneously about South loop.. like Align said I would put the floor on different levels.

    Like, the middle with square tiles high, then going about 8 inches down after every black trims, making the trims angled too.

    I think it would give much more depth to the room. Nice work so far.

    Just kidding.

    The words right after E.V.A. spell Space Station (according to japanese translators) and the other symbols after that stand for Peace and Happiness.

    There are 2 versions to the logo. The dirty scratched one you see in the picture, and a nice clean looking one.

    I'd see the colors to fit a bit more the scene, and scratches being smaller in scale because of the size of the logo.

    Also, I think your specular map is too bright, it seems to reflect a lot of light as opposed to the rest of the floor but thats just my opinion.

    The specular map has already been fixed. That image is a bit old compared to the new one.

    Also, I'm going to be working on a new color scheme for walls and stuff to match the logo. Lots of work needs to be done.

    Here's an updated screenshot. I reduced the size of the logo so the scratches don't seem stretched out. I also made the specular map darker so it doesn't reflect as much.

    The props "rock shield" or something like that doesn't make any sense there.

    Do we really will have maps which just looks cool but not realistic ?

    Great job slayer20 the logo looks very cool.

    Though as reading EVA and logo in the same sentence I was expecting something quite different. =D

    Here's a small placeholder shop I'm working. Testing out custom textures and what not.

    I currently have one custom wall, and 5 floor textures.

    The wall can be seen in the image along with the black marble tile floor and the blue carpet. I also have a white marble tile floor, a red carpet, and a green carpet.

    With EVA being a common reference to neon genesis evangelion I was somehow expecting the Nerv logo. :D

    I've never heard people call it that. I've always spelled the entire thing out or just said Neon Genesis.
