Gorge Slide

<div class="IPBDescription">like penguins</div>I was thinking it would be cool if gorges were able to slide on their bellies, backs, or kind of on their butts like penguins, this is so they can make better use of a speed boost - as a typically holding shift lets you run - well gorges are quite tubby, so their speed boosts only lasts a very short time. the option for the gorge is that it can initiate a slide, instead of losing the momentum built up during the run.
you would hold shift to get a speed boost, the gorge presses the crouch button while running at speed and this initiates the slide.
sliding through vents would look cool, and much better than people bhopping all over the place, done right, you could make it look very natural <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
maybe for effect you could even have a slime trail left behind that marines can slip on <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

Silly yes, but it could have its own strategic value.
I don't think if really fits in but, it does sound fun

And they need to spin while they slide.
imo
2. YES.
3. It only makes sense on infestation, dynamic or otherwise.
COWABUNGA!!!

I'd love to see a gorge slide like a penguin.
Or maybe on infestation, That would make them more tricky if marines try to face them on their home turf, but i think the slime idea would make Gorge rushes more viable!
Just as a general idea I'd looove this.

i guess the trade off could be that it takes up adrenaline to slide :) - but LOL at seeing a bunch of gorges sliding down a hexagonal hallway and not being all to turn at the end, so they would go up the wall 1/2 pipe style hahah
Edit: Great tasting, less filling.
To go on a bit of a tangent, infestation should increase the adren-regen and maybe hp-regen (if applicable) of aliens in contact/proximity.
i just imagined a pack of gorges sliding through a sewerpipe like the penguins from madagascar - DO WANT!
Exactly as i imagined it :) but i havent been able to find the youtube clip for it!
