badges & medals

Ok, idea is at i must kill 10 aliens in 1 minute, i do it. i gain badge. i get respect when other players, when they go to score broad and click my name so they can see my badges and medals. Ok, medals and badges will be permament then so when you win like, 25 games when you have been in comm seat, you gain medal or badge. But, theres easy, normal, hard and extreme diffucult medals and badges. Like: play a game without any misses from start to end, kill 3 onos:es in 1 minute.
kill 2 onos:es with a pistol in 1 round. theres few, i dont know should there be alien badges & medals but thats ok with me. No extra modding, just a mod to see other players permament badges & medals.

I kinda stopped looking around 2006 on the dates...

It is a thoroughly discussed topic. It has been shown to be very beneficial motivator in some ways and very negative in others. It is definitely something that should be taken care with if ventured into, and as I am a sucker for hoping for the best, but planning for the worst, well, I hope we see medals and/or badges kicking around on NS2, perhaps as a replacement to the current use of Half-Life games wall sprays at the very least, a way to wear your purple heart (possibly beating in a Kharaa's case) on your sleeve/appendage.
