the smudge is not super visible. But just before he does the "force of nature" bit, he pokes the camera and there's just a little bit of oil that blurs a bit of the screen.
Look at the screen at 1:03 near his index finger, it shows up in every interview segment after that point as well.

I would've loved to see this in TF2:
The closer you get to a turret the easier it is to outmanouvre it... Y'know... Turning circlestrafe the hell out of the thing. But yeah, they always have to be destroyed by uber combos/stickies or spies... Stupid engies... With their hard-hats...

You've got a good second or two if you pop up behind an sg's set viewpoint as it will turn to track you. Not enough for a scout to solo a lvl 3 sg, but enough to do a bit of damage before disappearing.
you actually can circle strafe a sentry. a fast class can run around a sentry and kill it without taking damage if you sneak up from behind. of course the positioning isn't just right for that very often -_-
It is possible to strafe one direction then double jump in the other direction and the sentry doesn't adjust properly close up. However most sentries tend to be back up to corners on official maps; custom maps they tend to be more open thus easier to dodge and strafe.

If you are let alone (except by the engineer, who you need to kill to make it work) you can pretty easily kill a turret as scout. Either shoot from corner with pistol or pop out every 2 sec (the turret will swiftly enough turn the other way after tracking you) and shoot with shotgun.

best bet, if you can do it, is to just run right past the little buggers, the key rule to that is to NEVER jump. Second you jump you are toast due to knock back.

Meh it had two funny scenes, the part when he pokes the heavy who it tyring to eat a sandwich in peace and the part when he dodges and screams back at the heavy.

Not bad, I like the one with demoman too, but most of them are cool. Damn, seems like a nice game.
Too bad my gaming machine is at home, while I got a crappy laptop at uni... btw. what are the requirements compared with HL2?
I've got Celeron 1.6GHz, 1gig ram, ati radeon xpress 200M (integrated!) and always though about it as a essay-writing machine on which I won't manage to play games like HL2 (which was actually a positive thought in relation to my academic coursework). However, because of pure curiosity I've installed HL2 the other day and I had a healthy 40-50 fps with 1024 resolution and most of the options set to high... anybody think I would manage to have a decent FT2 game with such a machine (even with 800x600 and medium-low graphics config?).
If u can run hl2 on high you should be able to play TF2 on low or whatever nicely, but I do expect you are running DX8 or something if you get such high framerate with a 1,8 celeron on high settings. Not sure though, the graphics card may do a lot to it.

DX9 even... It seems that not every on-board graphics is crappy after all, I will definitely have a go at TF2 someday soon... I remember loving demoman in TF1, although it required more luck than skill to be effective with this class, hope things have changed in the sequel!

Yep I think so to, allthough he has two "Boink! and Bonk!" He's annoying that way <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />
Let's all here at NS OT make a complete new set of voices for all the classes <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/biggrin-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":D" border="0" alt="biggrin-fix.gif" />
Dibs on scout, tho I'd want heavy, but sound enhancing software can only do so much <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/sad-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":(" border="0" alt="sad-fix.gif" />
Of course the voices are great but it would be fun just giving it a try and have a few cheap laughs before our amature rate voices kneads our ears to a halt. It's also a group project! social bonding yay!
I know a few of ya have mics and are ready to use em from the other thread, this is the time to put it to good use! For increased simplicity we could just repeat after the originals, but with yar' vereh ouwn spennh aoff. Occasionally throw in some native speech other then english and we got some real confusing stuff going on.

on the note of the video.
It sucked.
Lacked any of the comedy of the previous ones ;(<!--QuoteEnd--></div><!--QuoteEEnd-->
A lot of the time if you're going to be knocked back from jumping then running on the ground will get you killed.. sometimes the knockback throws you down a level and lets you live.

There ARE ways for a scout to kill a sentry, but they're all very situational, sadly. Generally, they're the bane of your existence.
