IPB Board Version Outdated

    Because the IPB used here is modified to integrate with the rest of the site. Pretty sure that's why the site was down for such a long time?

    Because while the additional features and functionality in IPB 2.3.4 may be all shiny and such, the community leads don't feel an upgrade from IPB 2.3.1 is warranted.
