Though 14% are using 800x600. It does seem to me however that most sites are designed more for 1024x768 now. Out of curiosity, why are you using 800x600 ?

Based on the traffic on the Unknown Worlds site over the past 6 months, only 0.5% of the visitors use 800x600. We'll see what we can do about the scrollbar though.
It doesn't just apply to people using smaller screen resolutions, it also applies for anyone that doesn't want the browser to take up the full width of the screen.

I dont know what UWE is using, but <a href="http://www.statcounter.com/" target="_blank">http://www.statcounter.com/</a> is free and works for most people. (And of course offers ways of tracking resolution <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" />)
I'll be darn... I can access all of those stats via my C-Panel EXCEPT Resolution Stats. Ima check one more time, and if I can't find them, I'll try this.
<a href="http://www.google.com/analytics/" target="_blank">http://www.google.com/analytics/</a> is also a good solution. It shows a lot of the same information, but it doesn't limit how much you can have stored (like statcounter does with free accounts), and it shows a bit more information. On a web site I was managing (no longer), I switched from statcounter to google analytics, even though they can be used together (as they are on this site, from a simple check of the source code).

I for example have the bookmarks tab open, making it seem more like 1024res and I know a lot of people who use a smaller window for the browser which is 800res-ish. Not to mention Mac users who will probably always run smaller window mode.
And I also use statcounter and google analytics as well myself <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/tounge.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":p" border="0" alt="tounge.gif" /> (they B good)
The regular "main" forums are not 800x600 friendly but the <a href="http://www.unknownworlds.com/ns2/forums/index.php?act=idx" target="_blank">NS2 forums</a> are 800x600 friendly.
Technically, they're the same forums, but it's good to know that the NS2 version of the forums is 800x600 friendly.
The difference between the "regular" forums and the NS2 version of the forums is that the NS2 version has a scroll bar at the bottom of the page.
Both forums do not fit in 800x600 resolution but the NS2 version has a scroll bar.
One thing I've been doing at work for a number of pages, is having two panes open side by side in opera (MDI is really nice for this, but worst case I may stop full screening the browser altogether). This makes reading a lot easier because it's a wide screen. (Think of books, most are taller than they are wide. Computer monitors, the opposite.)
Anyway, it's something that I've been experimenting with and really like so far. (Particularly when reading long posts/blog-esque-things/guides/etc.) Anyway, when splitting a 1600 pixel wide screen in half you get... dun dun dun 800. So I'd be for keeping 800x1200 support at the least! <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />
