<div class="IPBDescription">Can it be played as a stand alone ?</div>I am thinking about buying it for my wife but since she is not a computer person, having to logon to steam and fetch it to use it might be a bit of a problem for her. I only have one account, mine. So it would be alot easier if she could play it without having to go through steam (I am not always there to start it for her).

If it is available as a stand alone, will support continue for it too or only for the steam version ?

No, you don't need to use Steam.

When it comes to support, it checks for updates at start up and has been updating itself in the past. I'd imagine Charlie would provide new versions for the stand-alone product every time the Steam version is updated.
