well, there's that one case where an employee gave out several illegally obtained BPO's to BoB. He eventually admitted it. Other than that, I don't know if anything's proven (I don't even play the game so I have no clue really). I do believe that many devs are probably part of BoB, and at the very least, this means BoB probably has greater access to information than the Goons...

The accusations aren't so much about items given for free, but preferential treatment. BoB members have admitted (many times) that they have direct friendships/contacts with the devs. It isn't really fair that BoB members can get their items reimbursed/problems fixed/exploits punished almost instantly just by asking one of the GMs or Devs personally while the rest of the universe has to wait through the petition system. Complaints also focus around that BoB is rarely, if ever, punished for exploits (log-on ambushes, lag tactics) that other people get in trouble for.

Also: Apparently Goonfleet isn't actually disbanding, they are still all together as much as ever.
