    The coolest model shot for now.
    If im watching the onos i think "wow its looks like an elephant, no like an mammoth...no it looks like an real onos.
    Realy it looks great, i know its "only" a conzept, but its very cool.


    I realy hope you get the cool feeling like the maps look on the concepts.

    looks to me that the onos is almost twice its original size <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" /> i hope it will be that way in the game! PWNOS!

    also LOL @ the marine in the middle trying to do Crocodile Dundee on the onos......

    looks a bit bigger to me even with perspective, although not twice the size... hope it is a little bigger tbh, that's perfectly justifiable and the onos needs a buff anyway.

    You're implying that it will no longer be lacking, when in fact these are the same tentacles the onos has always had.

    i've always wanted tentical type attack for the fade - kinda like the barnacles, snatch a marine of a group and reel him into a pack of skulks <img src="style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/smile-fix.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":)" border="0" alt="smile-fix.gif" />

    The tentacles are a good addition. They give the onos a very "alien" appearance while maintaining its bulk and overall intimidation.

    In less words, he no longer looks like a rhinoceros from Hell.

    The tentacles are actually old school. You can still see them pop up sometimes when switching weapons during game play, though it's rare.
    In NS 1.04 the onos had paralyze instead of stomp. The tentacles would stick a marine and do the same thing as stomp but for much longer.

    Paralyze stunned the marine you aimed at(any range) for 6-7 seconds, but he could still turn and shoot. It was ideal for knocking jetpackers out of the air, and since they took fall damage back then it usually killed them.

    Yeah, which meant onos was actually the counter to JP not HA as he is now usually seen. Funny how changing one attack can completely rearange and class's role.
