    Would people shut up about saying "Lock this", "In before lock", "Why isn't this locked yet?". Honestly guys, how many pointless threads have actually been locked? None? Maybe one?
    Remember that thread about that mod or whatever, where the sub-title was "Look how fast this gets locked" and it went for 7 pages or something? Yeah.

    Stop acting as if you have some intricate understanding of the hardly existent forum posting guidelines, it only makes you look like a huge tool.

It's probably a little bit based on truth; I'm sure there are plenty of people who have tried such a stunt who ended up getting caught in their WEB OF LIES.     I remember some time ago a transcript was posted about some script-kiddy threatening some guy over IRC, asking for IP so he can hack him, typical internet stuff. Anyway, the guy being threatened tells the would-be hacker that his IP is 127.0.0.1, hilarity ensues. I think the transcript ended with the kiddy reformatting his own computer or something to that tune.

    eh... wow.

    As for the original post, it was very funny. I might have even laughed out loud. On a second reading however I think it might just be a farce. Maybe I'm overestimating the intelligence level of someone that would try to pretend to be a software employee, but it strikes me as more likely someone would hilariously fake it before someone would hilariously f*** up that way.
