i thought up of a new fish:
drillfish- medium sized fish that uses its huge drill-like proboscis to drill holes in the larger creatures, and also your ships and seabases which create leaks in your hull/seamoth/PRAWN suit/seabas… -

how about a group of some creature things that live in some sort of hive in a cave and when you get close enough the all come out and swarm at you,
