• I also agree.
  There is already a visual status for power when you enter a base, i.e. 800\800, why not simply add an indicator for hull integrity.

• I completely agree the use of enameled glass for anything you would like to add structural integrity. If you can add titanium reinforcement why not a glass reinforcement.

• Why not simply have the ability to create a control panel, using the habitat builder, that can be used to name the base that will use the HUD on your PDA to dim lights, verify reactors are functioning, power levels, etc.
