the problem with beacon right now is it's an all or nothing action. Take back all your live marines no matter where they are. so if you have a small team in an important position (IE: next to a hive) you lose that position and now back at square one…

the +6 is just a random number it would have to be played with. if not maybe just make them stronger with each hive ?

i think if the exo was able to use a welder in one hand and gun in the other it should overheat faster. IE: if your using both gun and welder at the same time the overheat process climbs to the maximum faster so you would have to be constantly choos…

yeah i was disappointed this was taken out, it added an additional variable for dynamic game play. But building on infestation would be counter productive. This way alien commander would have to make sure important areas are covered with cysts/infes…

good idea, make it so the vortex stops/activates as soon as it hits a marine/structure. if theirs nothing it just dissipate after 'x' amount of distance. 10m? that number would have to be tested.

it does need to be tone down, its an unlimited skill, AOE damage + damage over time + extremely long range. on top of the marine commander warning system being $h!T its a recipe for disaster. one gorge is able to take down a base, ive seen it happen…

i would suggest that the alien structures stop working if the creep has disappeared from under them, same way when the power goes out for marines structures stop working, aliens right now have no way of that happening.

now here is the issue with the whole aliens have to research bile bomb and needing… -
aliens need a scale-able weapon/armor upgrade like the marines (kind of like ns1) one chamber = armor level 1, another chamber makes it level 2, etc.
