I would define the crashes around the 10 hour mark to be an unplayable game... I am aware I can reset the cache, I have done so previously - what about the large proportion of players who don't find their way to the forums? They wi… -

I do appreciate the pain of a monster bug - I'm a software developer myself, but not in gaming - so I'm not trying to make light of the work. But... these *will* need fixing before the game can be considered finished. Things like t… -

This merely indicates the rule of the lowest common denominator. It's the reason we have massive, flavourless carrots. -
Personally I find a melon's perkiness to be more appetising than its specific dimensions.

Dangit, I was hoping that the shallows would be safe again... I gave up on the last update because I had a reefback AND a reaper both circling my one-tube base...
Devs, you should know, we love this game and we're excited for new content… -

You're assuming that everyone's PC is underpowered... my overclocked i5, SSD, 32gb ram and nVidia 1060 should be more than enough to run this game at a mere 1920x1200. None of these sort of fixes are relevant when two CPU cores rem… -
Varies, but I like to choose an intersection of safe shallows with one or two other biomes. It's nice to have a different colour of water when looking out of different parts of the base in Where do you typically build? Comment by nekozji January 2017

Tbh, it would seem to make sense for there to be some focus on performance and stability in the very near future. We all appreciate "early access" and basically, we're paying to be beta testers - but right now, it's pretty hard to test. We can't giv…

I'm relatively sure that if the sand shark is already chasing a fish, it ignores the player - unless it catches the fish...

Stalker solution - carry a fish in your hand. They'll take the fish and leave you alone for 10-20 seconds. Take several fish while harvesting creepvine seeds in Air tanks don't stack anymore? Comment by nekozji May 2016

If you'd built a cyclops, your base would be broken

Really hoping the devs will eventually come up with an answer to the lack of renewable materials - even if it's a mine that needs a nuclear reactor and 20 plasteel ingots to get it started, and sucks power like it's scotch in Out of ressources? Comment by nekozji May 2016

Surround it with pipes to keep it in place - cheap and effective, though it does look kind of ugly

Delicious necro chaps, well done
I'll settle for performance fixes. I tire of 1 fps in safe shallows. -

This is my experience as well. Landforms are recognisable between saves. The exact location of quartz, sandstone, etc seems to vary, as does the starting location for your pod which can give the impression of a different map for a … -
I'm going to go optimistic and say I reckon they've found the cause of the framerate judders, but it's taking ages to get it into a state where it works at all again in Automated Builds Comment by nekozji April 2016

I sure hope so, because my life pod is several km away over the deep dark parts of the ocean...

I think a pressurised helium/oxygen mix is used at those kind of depth at present, since liquid breathing doesn't appear to exist yet (unless it does?). Which admittedly still requires a very fancy setup, and I'm hoping that… -
Darn, I was really hoping it would be the recipes for the new Seamoth depth modules. Old one got taken away a week ago, new one seems accessible only via console ^^;
