I have the same issue and I posted about it on this forum as well and someone mentioned that it could have a possible memory leak somewhere. I just don't have the issue of my PC restarting.

It usually starts freezing if i am playing any mode other than sandbox usually while its playing the cutscene, for snadbox usually about 1 minute in the game either while i am in the pod or just getting into the water
