That's a server-side mod. It's not official and it's not part of the game. It's just a custom modification run on some servers that allow users to display their TSF badge if they've crafted one on their steam account.

Well, I just hope this isn't a "feature" that will stay in future NS2 builds. It might have something to do with steam it self though, as I noticed server info for a few other games was a bit buggy/funny.

Is it number of victories? Hours spent in a commander seat? Only a full 12v12 game? I can't find any documentation about it anywhere at all. Doesn't help that games on UWE official servers don't seem to be showing up on my hive stats either.

I'm grinding for my badge and my NS2 hive skill has fallen from 400-440 skill to <100 lol. Not commander friendly!

One of my clan mates have encountered this error. Unknown specs etc. Also he has fps issues. I personally haven't encountered anything like this.

I wouldn't mind a small animation with the command chair exploding and bursting out into little metal fragments, sort of like how the hive does now. The current chair death is rather... lacklustre. Also +1 on hive/chair death on concede.

Oh, and also in my original post I was thinking about making it so that you can only see your own team's unbuilt structures while the enemy structures always look fully built - just for some fog of war stuff. I dunno, this part really needs thinking…

At the moment the grenade launcher is looking like a relic from NS1 days shoehorned into the new game. It just doesn't fit in with the game play, especially now that whips don't fling back grenades and hand grenades are available.

I'd like more dynamic maps like what this feature suggests, welding vents shut or some other map changing feature.
Maybe have a gorge bile only open up the welded vent?
