We would need larger birds, which i've been campaigning for for a while. I love the idea though -

I love realism but it wouldn't work with the subs due to breaking gameplay -
If what the developers said about wildlife having cysts on them, we could assume that they may not be genetically resilient to the disease, and can infer that they might not even be from the planet, but were on one of the crashed ships and escaped. …

This creature would most likely be smaller if it were to really exist, so a leviathan is wayyyy to big (Plus there eyes are black). Sand Sharks won't work because there are are not distinguishable enough. Probably would have to be a new creature all…

Still, this would probably be added at like 2.0. if the devs ever do add it. Development of Subnautica will slow down immensely once 1.0 is out, so don't expect this for years. -

I like the scientific analysis part, but having the player be able to name creatures seems like a useless feature. Also, scientific names are made from genus and family, not random latin words. -

Put my thoughts into words better than I could, thank you. -

Then what is? They're clearly going for a realistic direction. -

The map will always have a void, no matter how far you expand, there will always be a border. -
(Quote) It can be realistic if it's another planet?!?!

Know any programs? -
I've thought of that. once you open the door you should come out onto the ledge and sea the gaping front of the Aurora, a majestic yet terrifying sight.

Too much of a focus on land in a sea game. However if you get rid of the chasm full of predators and just change it to a chasm wth something acidic in it, I could see it working. The yellow tinge is a nice idea too.

No Man's Land isn't happening. It's not even on land. -

I give a damn obviously, and i'm not the only one. If the developers want to lean towards realism like they have so far, then they should commit to it. Also it's not a stretch at all. -

They are based off of bullet shrimp I believe -

Nice Notion Nautical_Nick, Nevertheless, no reason it shouldn't be nuff to put in the game. (I was going for an N theme but it didn't really work...) -
No Problem, and thanks for taking the comment so maturely (People get mad when they don't have an answer to that question). As for a role, if it's smaller than the seamoth, it could be used to crawl through tight cavern systems. It would need to tur…

Regardless, the stalker is not a realistic of fitting name in my opinion. Also I believe the Gary Fish is named after Gary from Spongebob in Renaming of Certain Species (Quickie) Comment by Warmind September 2016 -
Needs an advantage over vehicles in game.

Other than Algae, I could see this working. I especially love the idea of this being hidden beneath the sands of the dunes. I think Algae wouldn't work here, but it should be hard to find, and filled with life. An oasis in the deserts.

I think Peeper and Boomerang would be fine if they added "fish" to the end of them. It's a small change but makes a big difference. Crash and Stalker are atrocious (And for the record, Stalkers don't really do much stalking) -

I didn't see the first answer, where was that? Also, it is very time consuming yes, but you have to pay people for their time and efforts (Even if it's cut). As far as the animations go, are there any custom animations to interact … -

It was an accident haha -

I'd love to apply but I have no talent and a garbage computer. -

It's still not confirmed. Modeling is the easy part, but animating it is time and money. May be cut. -

It's wonderful that you've taken an interest in game design and I urge you to pursue that career, but I have two criticisms:
1) What edge does it have over the cyclops. If it has none, there really isn't a point.
