I have done this to fix other issues with other games in the past but i never did it for Subnautica. This fixed it immediately and i didnt need to start over. -

I also attempted to load a save from June2017 and all habitats and corridors were just missing, basically causing me to fall through the floor and walk along the sea bed as if there was no water.
