Congrats on your release!
I played the Early Access right until the blocked ending, but I will be restarting the entire thing to get the full polished experience when I have time to play again. -
That's one heck of a base! Nice job!
I agree in the deep exploration -- I got as far as you can go before this last update, and my biggest disappointments were vehicle balance and the mostly empty above ground experience.

The first game wasn't as linear exploration/story wise though. You could explore bioms in any order without getting blocked for the most part, unless I am not remembering correctly. If you didn't explore one area it didn't ruin exp… -
Weird -- there can sometimes be a Jelly near where you leave your vehicle -- but I went there so many times in my playthrough and never had a problem with my vehicle being randomly destroyed after leaving it.

As someone who managed to get their cyclops wedged between two walls and had to permanently abandon it in Subnautica, I can't even imagine trying to pilot it through the biomes of BZ. The Seatruck with a few modules is frustrating enough.

Going back I was totally stupid for not finding it, but if I didn't find it others will probably miss at as well. Just feedback for the devs -- it's easy to not make the right turn and go explore other areas. Like I said, I had eve…I haven't had this problem -- they do annoying chip damage to your truck as you are getting there, but I've never experienced them killing my vehicle after I've left for land.(Quote)
Yeah that's absolutely true -- while the world and story are getting nicely fleshed out, the balance of resource/vehicle/depth management compared to the first one is not good at all. It doesn't take long to realize you might as we…I have no idea on that, but if it provides any insight, Subnautica saves do not get stored in Steam either (apparently they're too big) so you have to manually transfer save files over if you move to a new PC.As someone who played through it the last few weeks, I can tell you the story is MOSTLY finished (you can't complete it) but you never know what world changes they might make that totally mess up things you build in a dynamic game like this. So hard…Anyone who voted for the Cyclops must be a sadist... the amount of times I got that thing wedged in a tight spot and had to mash my movement keys for 15 minutes or just plain load back to a previous save gives me nightmares to this day.

That's all well and fine, but I do have to agree with the OP that the ice worms are the most infuriating thing I've experienced in either Subnautica game.
Every other enemy gives you leeway to be able to avoid/juke with…Update: I found this on the Steam forums:

Not sure about my muted sound on launch, but I guess they are still recording new voice lines so that part is known.I've noticed it happens more frequently after you've picked some table coral up, but it's still not consistent for me. Just yesterday I cut one down, grabbed the samples -- the next two I cut I could not pick up, then the 3rd one I could pick up aga…Good riddance. Stalker teeth were one of the most annoying resources in the first game! That looks like a long walk to the base!Must just be my RNG then, I got to the point where I was hoping for Titanium and leaving copper on the ground!Yep, I directly swam to it and knifed it a few times then grabbed it back. However, I can see a scenario where you are low on oxygen as it gets grabbed and that's not an option. in Sub Zero - Some fish stole my Scanner Comment by Remedy85 April 2019Decided to break down and purchase today after another update. Quick question -- is progression saved between patches or wiped each time? Will it be wiped on official release? I googled around but couldn't find an answer.
